These Vintage Nylon Stockings were manufactured back in the the  1960s
when the First Seamless Flat Knit Nylon Stockings were  produced. A short
time later Micro Mesh was introduced and became the rage as the durability
was increased due to there ability not to run when a fiber of nylon was
damaged. Sadly to say just a short time later Panty Hose was introduced.

Manufacturing of Albert's Stockings

Manufactured on a circular Knitting machine, capable of making a reciprocating Heel and Toe, better known as Reinforced Heel and Toe as the Yarn in this area was of a heavier Denier as well as Gauge to insure durability. Albert's Stockings were produced in Mills across the country but mostly in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. 

The Design of the Stockings as well as the Quality was dictated by Albert and this is why many Mills could produce the identical stocking for Albert. Albert's made available many Styles of Stocking (Full Fashion, Pattern, Seamless, RHT, Demi Toe, Bare Foot and many more) as well as different weight stockings starting with the Finest - Ultra Sheers 15 Denier,  Business Sheers or sometimes called
walking sheers at 30 Denier and Service weight mostly at 70 Denier. 
Velvitized - This was a process of making the stockings more silk like by adjusting the Ph when the stockings were dyed as well as adding a finishing to them, Lanolin, Sometimes called Lanolized.

These Vintage Nylon Stockings are the Last of there kind in the world and are only available here at Alexis4u.
They are extremely Limited in Quantity and only available in 3 Shades. All are Flat Knit, the silky smooth knitting style which is indicative of Vintage Nylon Stockings and give
off a certain luster that no other Nylon Stocking can.

These are not Run Resist or Micro Mesh but Vintage Flat Knit.
